We're taking a little break this week to spend some QT with friends and family. And we're releasing the show a bit early so you can listen while you travel!
(looking for more craft beer stuff to listen to on your drive? Check out Project BGR, our other craft beer podcast!)
In the meantime, please enjoy some of our best interviews from the year, including:
But most importantly, we want to thank you so much for your support! It's been a great year so far, and we're looking forward to telling the story of craft beer for many years to come.
Have a great Thanksgiving. Be thankful, drink local, and CHEERS!
If you haven't noticed, downtown Roswell is becoming a pretty good craft beer destination. Gate City Brewing Company is one of the reasons why.
On this week's show, we talk to Brian Borngesser and Pat Rains, co-founder of Roswell, Georgia's Gate City Brewing Company.
They discuss their start, the challenges of moving from gypsy brewing to their own system, and the difference between contract and gypsy brewing.
Also, we talk about the growth of the downtown Roswell area, especially as a craft beer destination. Cheers!

Next week, we will have our special Thanksgiving Day show, featuring clips from some of our best interviews over the past year. Enjoy your turkey, and don't forget to DRINK LOCAL!
At the Beer Guys Radio Show, we love our craft beer.
But once in a while, we like to break the mold a bit. And that's what we did this week. We talk distilling - whiskey and rum to be specific. Erik Vonk from Savannah's Richland Rum joined us, as did Michael Anderson from Decatur's Independent Distilling.
Craft beer and craft distilling has many things in common, and we talk to Erik and Michael about that, including how they got their start in distilling. Also the vagaries involved in barrel aging, and the importance of keeping their ingredients local.
